The Firm
In 1959 Héctor P. Lanfranco and Manuel J. Mariño formed Lanfranco &
Mariño.
Amaro Detry was a partner of the Firm and the director of its debt recovery department for almost 30 years, specializing in collateral collections.
In 2000 part of Lanfranco & Mariño was absorbed by the law firm Marval, O'Farrell & Mairal. At that point in time Lanfranco & Detry was created.
The firm initially focused on debt recovery matters, both judicial and out of court.
In 2006 Martín J. Lanfranco joined the Firm broadening its areas of practice by incorporating general litigation, bankrupcty and reorganization and contracts.
In 2008 the expert in real estate matters Melitón González del Solar became a member of the Firm.
In 2013 Fermín O. Castro Madero joined the Firm. He is a specialist in banking and capital markets and mergers and acquisitions.
As a result of all of such joinings the Firm presently renders services concerning the most relevant legal areas.
