Fermín O. Castro Madero
Born in 1966. He graduated from the Universidad Nacional de Buenos Aires in 1987.
Before joining Lanfranco & Detry he was a partner of the Banking and Capital Markets department at Marval, O'Farrell & Mairal from 2007 to 2013.
He had previously worked at Vítolo Abogados (1995 a 1997), Llerena & Asociados (1993 a 1995), Tau Anzoátegui & Asociados (1989 a 1993), Linares Quintana, Badeni & Gagliardo (1988 a 1989) and at the National Judiciary Power (1987 a 1988).
Financing (both local and international), restructurings, foreign investments, capital markets transactions (both national and international), mergers and acquisitions, foreign exchange matters, anti-money laundering matters, trusts, contracts and litigation can be mentioned within his expertise areas.
The international publication The Legal 500 included him among the most remarkable lawyers in the banking and finance sector in Argentina, according to clients' opinion, in 2012 and 2013.
He has been selected as one of Argentina’s best lawyers in 2004 and 2008 according to a survey prepared by the magazine Apertura.
